Health Guarantee Terms

1. General Health Guarantee

We guarantee that each kitten from Mira’s Cattery Kittens is in good health at the time of adoption. To support this guarantee, we provide the following:

• Health Record: You will receive a detailed health record outlining the kitten’s veterinary visits, vaccinations, and any treatments received.
• Initial Examination: We recommend that you take your new kitten to a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of adoption for an initial health check. This visit will confirm that your kitten is in good health.

2. 14-Day Viral Illness Guarantee

We guarantee that your kitten is free from any viral illnesses at the time of adoption. If your kitten shows symptoms of a viral illness within 14 days of adoption, we will:

• Reimbursement for Veterinary Care: Cover the cost of veterinary care up to the purchase price of the kitten.
• Exchange Option: Offer an exchange for another available kitten if preferred.

3. 1-Year Genetic Health Guarantee

We provide a 1-year guarantee against any hereditary or genetic disorders that could impact your kitten’s quality of life. If a genetic disorder is diagnosed within the first year, we offer the following options:

• Veterinary Treatment: Cover the cost of veterinary treatment up to the purchase price of the kitten.
• Replacement Kitten: Offer a replacement with another available kitten from our cattery.

Conditions and Exclusions

Conditions

• Veterinary Confirmation: Any claims under our health guarantee must be accompanied by a statement from a licensed veterinarian diagnosing the condition.
• Timely Notification: You must notify us within 24 hours of the diagnosis to activate the health guarantee.
• Proper Care: The health guarantee is void if the kitten has not been provided with proper care, including regular vaccinations, check-ups, a balanced diet, and a safe living environment.

Exclusions

• Non-Genetic Conditions: This guarantee does not cover non-genetic health issues that may arise after adoption, such as injuries or illnesses contracted due to environmental factors.
• Minor Conditions: Conditions that do not affect the kitten’s long-term health or quality of life (e.g., minor respiratory infections) are not covered under this guarantee.

How to Activate the Health Guarantee

1. Initial Veterinary Visit: Schedule and complete an initial health check with a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of adoption.
2. Documentation: Keep all veterinary records and receipts as proof of care and treatment.
3. Notification: Contact us immediately if a health issue arises, providing us with the necessary documentation and a diagnosis from a licensed veterinarian.
